Privacy Policy

This policy covers the publishing tool SkulleyFX uses to post its own videos to social media. On Google's sign in screen this tool appears as "Culley and Cosmo Poster". It is an internal tool. It is not offered to the public, and only SkulleyFX staff sign in to it.
What the tool does
It uploads and schedules videos that SkulleyFX and its own productions made, along with their titles, descriptions and thumbnails, to accounts that SkulleyFX owns on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. It also reads basic view statistics for those same accounts so we can see how our posts perform.
What information it uses
- Our own account access. When we connect one of our accounts, the platform gives the tool an access token. The tool uses that token only to post to and read statistics from that account.
- Our own content and statistics. These are our videos, captions, and the view and engagement numbers for our posts.
The tool does not collect, store or process personal information about viewers, followers or anyone else. It does not read messages, comments, contact lists or other people's profiles.
Google and YouTube data
The tool uses the YouTube Data API and the YouTube Analytics API only to upload and manage videos on SkulleyFX's own channels and to read those channels' statistics. By using these services you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How it is stored and shared
Access tokens are kept on SkulleyFX's own computers, in files that only the studio's systems can read. We do not sell, rent or share this information with anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep a token only while we use the account it belongs to. Removing the tool's access deletes our ability to use the token. To remove access:
- Google/YouTube: myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Facebook and Instagram: Facebook Settings, then Business Integrations
- LinkedIn: Settings, then Data privacy, then Permitted services
To ask us to delete any stored information, email us at the address below. We will delete it within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
